About us

Interest association of legal entities OK4EU was founded in June 2010 under the provisions of § 20f et seq. Act No. 40/1964 Coll. Civil Code, as amended. This association has commenced its active work in September 2011.

The basic objective of OK4EU is to represent the interests of the Olomouc Region in the European Union institutions and in accordance with the accessible possibilities, in European associations and networks of regions, as well.

Strengthening the position of particular regions constitutes a significant trend within the European Union, particularly in recent years. Currently, many regions are even more viable partners for various institutions than the states as such.
